Interview of Malik Hoggas resident of the Greek D1 since this year.
Hello Malik how are you?
Hello, I’m very much thank you.
How did you adapt to the club, to life in Greece?
The adaptation was very simple as in all my previous clubs because I am very nice and the Greeks are very welcoming.
There is a large handball community in Athens, as there are several clubs in the 1st division.
What is the level of the Greek championship?
The Greek championship and very heterogeneous there are very good teams at the top of the table like teams of low level at the end of classification.
In my opinion this goes from the bottom D2 middle table to the bottom N1 table.
And on the personal level?
On the personal level I take my foot sportively, I regularly make part of the 7 major of the week but not yet elected mvp hoping it will be this weekend
Tell us about the atmosphere in the rooms, we know the fervor of the Greek public?
The atmosphere is very hot when it comes to derby or meetings between big clubs like the Paok who receives Aek because they are the worst enemies. The atmosphere is really boiling, however handball is the 5 th sport co in Greece, it is not really recognized …
What can we wish you for this end of season?
I wish to win the championship and qualify for Europe next season.
On a personal and emotional level, it will surely be my last year abroad.
Traveling abroad through sport is wonderful but it is not every day pink.
But hey, what does not kill makes it stronger and it remains a great experience.
